Enhancing Water Quality in Jhelum City

The Water Supply Works department (WASA) in Jhelum City is committed to providing safe and clean drinking water to its residents. To ensure the highest standards of water quality, we have implemented a Chlorination System at our tube wells. 💧

This state-of-the-art system adds chlorine to the drinking water, effectively eliminating bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms that can pose health risks. The chlorination process is a crucial step in safeguarding public health and preventing waterborne diseases.

By incorporating this advanced technology, WASA Jhelum is taking proactive measures to enhance the quality of drinking water supplied to households, businesses, and institutions across the city. Our goal is to provide reliable, safe, and clean water to all residents, contributing to a healthier community.

Upgrading Water Management with SCADA Technology

The Water Supply Works department (WASA) in Jhelum City is enhancing its operations with the implementation of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system at our tube wells.

This advanced system allows us to monitor and control tube well operations remotely, ensuring efficient water supply management. With SCADA, we can:

  • Track water flow, pressure, and quality in real-time.
  • Control pumps, valves, and chlorination systems from a central location.
  • Quickly detect and respond to issues like leaks or equipment failures.
  • Optimize water distribution for better service to Jhelum City residents.

By integrating SCADA technology, WASA Jhelum is improving reliability, efficiency, and responsiveness in water supply services, contributing to a better quality of life for our community.
